Explore America's largest home built by George Vanderbilt. Day passes usually costs ~100 per person but includes wine tasting, food tasting, and access the over 8000 acres.
Recommended stops when exploring downtown include: Asheville Pinball Museum, Woolworth Walk, Asheville Art Museum, and shopping at the Grove Arcade Business Center
Downtown, there are a TON of breweries, however 2 of the highest recommended include Burial Beer Co and Funkatorium - which are 1.5 blocks away from each other
Food, rooftop bar, tours, and famous brews. You cannot go wrong with this downtown brewery!

A 6.1-mile out-and-back trail near Pisgah Forest, North Carolina. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 3 h 31 min to complete. This trail is located ~48 min south west of Asheville.

This trail is just 12 minutes from Downtown Asheville and is a 4.7-mile out-and-back trail. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 2 h 12 min to complete. This is an awesome opportunity to travel the Blue Ridge Parkway and see beautiful fall trees changing colors.
About an hour North East of downtown Asheville, Crabtree falls is one of the best waterfalls the state has to offer. Its a 2.6-mile loop trail near Little Switzerland, North Carolina. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 1 h 21 min to complete.

A bookstore with over 30,000 rare and used books to explore as well as a quaint coffee shop.
This hipster bookstore has anarchy vibes and supports tons of grassroots movements in the area. If you are into the progressive movement, this store is for you.
This is one of Shelby and I's favorites. This place has good food, champagne flights, and classic/rare books to explore.
